Vintage Decanter Crystal Cut to Clear Purple Nachtmann Traube Purple Decanter

  

This is for a lovely Cut to Clear Deep Purple / Amethyst Decanter. This would have been produced by Nachtmann and is in the Traube pattern. The pieces has a lovely Bohemian / Barvarian style and was hand crafted in Germany / Bavaria.

The cut crystal has cuts of Grapes, fern leaves, stars and criss-cross cuts through out the entire piece. The color on the base goes up to the rim and is very light reflective. The decanter with the stopper in place measures: 15.25 inches tall x 4.5 inches in diameter. All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures.

I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Please let me know if need any addition pictures or clarification on the pictures I have posted.

Remember most items will show wear. Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear.

Remember vintage items have been used and will have small issues like surface scratches and age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description. I STRONGLY believe in reusing and repurposing of mailing materials, thus your item maybe packed in a previously used box and/or wrapped with previously used materials.
