Vintage Baccarat Crystal SERPENTINE Decanter Vertical Wave Cut Design Rare

  

A rare find - a Baccarat Crystal Decanter with the stopper, SERPENTINE pattern, made in France, ca. Amazing Baccarat clarity of heavy thick crystal, cut in the wave design vertically around the perfectly round body, hence the name of the pattern, round body.

The stopper showcases a round clear glass block of crystal. Approximate measurements: 10 inch (25.5 cm) tall, 4.25 inch (10.8 cm) diameter at the bottom, 2.75 inch (7 cm) diameter of the stopper, 4 lbs (1.8 kg) weight. Condition is excellent without any chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.

Both pieces - the decanter and stopper are acid-etched with Baccarat France hallmark in the center of the undersides. The mark features a circle with decanter / bottle in the center, two glasses - a stem and a tumbler on both sides and the words Baccarat and France in block letters.
