Victorian Cut Glass Whisky Decanter with Silver Spout Circa 1897. A Fine Antique Cut Glass Whisky Decanter and Stopper with a Silver Collar and Spout. The Bottle Style Decanter is beautifully marked with the word Whisky which is etched in a flowing script font and reads on the angle on one side of the decanter body.

The Hallmarked Silver Collar is marked for London and is dated 1897, unfortunate the makers mark is indistinct. Eye-catching, Useful, and decorative, the Decanter will add to any collectors home. Piece is in Great Vintage condition for its age, material, and use. There are no major chips, dents, or repairs, however as photographed there is a curved 4.5 cm fault or facture in the glass from under the silver collar on the reverse of the decanter. The rest of the glass body, handle and stopper are in good order.

The Silver Spout is very slightly misshapen in part and doesnt polish to a high sheen and of course there is surface scratching to the Glass and metal work. In keeping with age and general use. This being said this is a very Handsome decanter with a lot of history. Overall Measurements: Height 28.5 x Width 10.5 x Depth 8.5 cm. Stopper: 9.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm.

Handle: 8 x 4 x 1.5 cm. Spout: 3.5 x 4 cm. The piece is in Great Vintage condition for its age, material, and use.
