These were produced in the Bohemian glass making region of Germany around 1850-70. The design and styles were produced for the Persian (Iran) market.
They make a royal statement when displayed! The size indicates that they were made for being the centerpiece display of any table by reaching a magnificent height of 23 1/2 inches! The glass is very heavy and sturdy.
The sides of the decanters and matching stoppers are cut with differing designs, shapes, and bevels. Normally finding the original undamaged stopper is extremely lucky! Finding a matching pair in this condition is even more uncommon. Put the finishing touch on your collection with these scarce pieces. This is for the best of collections!
