For your consideration is this incredibly rare Czech Bohemian Art Glass, ruby red cut to clear, uniquely shaped candlesticks. The pattern includes a castle and a bird and matches other patterns in this line perfectly. Art glass was typically made in and around the present-day Czech Republic during the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil era, the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Antique pieces in this genre most often consist of a classic vase form that has been hand-worked and sometimes deformed into swirling, organic-looking shapes like seashells, flowers, and tree trunks. Decorative vases, cups, and pitchers were popular forms, and many of the pieces have an iridescent sheen from the firing and reduction techniques used at the time.

He candlesticks measure 8 ¾" tall and the base is 4" in diameter. The opening for the candle is approximately 1" inside with the flared top measuring 2" across. Separately, I have a matching bowl (as seen in the pictures) that is a very rare and unique piece of art in this pattern, that the one I have is the only one I have seen like it, doing extensive research. 7 ¾ diameter at opening. The bowl in the center and the candlesticks on each side is a lovely centerpiece for a dining table, side table, or anywhere you can display it.
