Rare Art Deco Crystal Thistle Pattern Decanter With Hallmarked Silver Collar

  

For sale is this rare thistle decanter. Cut crystal body and stopper with a silver collar. The collar is hallmarked but the marks are quite worn. I can make out a lions head and makers mark HP & S. This is Henry Perkins & Sons of London and the mark was used between 1921 - 1928.

Although the collar is by a London maker I would guess the decanter to be Scottish and possibly Edinburgh Crystal. Please see the pictures as they for a large part of the listing. The decanter has some nibbles and a small chip. The silver hallmarks are worn.

The base is scratched commensurate with age. Although not perfect it displays really nicely. Measures approx 10 x 4.5 inches. A lovely and rare decanter. Please add me to your favourites list.
