These decanters are made of mould blown glass and have been hand cut with small lens cuts on the ribbed bodies and have facets to the shoulders. The decanters have tooled pouring spouts for ease of use and flat topped moulded barrel shaped stoppers. The decanters have ground pontil on their bases and the amount of wear here that you would expect to see with antique decanters. They are in very good order with just a few little chips or roughness to the outer edge of one stopper top and a small internal bruise at one shoulder. This is an excellent pair of antique decanters and very decorative for display and use.
They stand 7 3/4 inches high and 2 3/4 inches wide and are a good heavy weight at 1052g. The item "Pair Georgian Square Cut Irish Glass Pint Decanters Spouted Pouring Lip c 1825" is in sale since Sunday, November 24, 2019.
