Old CORBELL & CO. Large Grape Vine Design LIQUOR SET with 3 Cut Glass Decanters

  

Presented for your consideration is this stunning antique liquor set. The holder is made of electroplate nickel silver and was made by Corbell & Company.

It features an intricately detailed grape vine/leaf pattern throughout which extends to the feet and the handle of the base. Bottom of the base is marked with two sets of hallmarks.

The first sets bares a castle and C & CO which is representative of Corbell & Company. Corbell was established in London, England in 1946 before being moved to Los Angeles in 1951 by then owner Arthur Corbell. Throughout the following years they expanded to 5 different cities throughout the United States.

They are still in business today. The second set of hallmarks is a series of letters, E. In script writing which is is the hallmark for electroplate nickel silver.

Comes with three large, clear cut glass decanters with their original stoppers. Each bottle has a diamond design around the base with ovals around the neck base and a sunburst pattern on the bottom of the bottles. All stoppers sit securely in place in the bottle and all bottles fit snug in the holder. This set is free of damage, outside of some general light wear. This breathtaking set would make a great addition to any decanter or barware collection!
