Good Quality George V Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver & Crystal Cut Glass Decanter Made By Mappin & Webb Ltd. Description - Splendid vintage 1920s crystal cut glass decanter of bellied form with superb cut patterns and a solid silver collar and ball stopper. Made by renowned silversmiths Mappin & Webb Ltd.

The collar is fully hallmarked with the leopards head for London assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter "n" for the year 1928 and the makers mark "MN & WB" which is Mappin & Webb Ltd. Condition - Condition is excellent. Images part of both the description and condition report. Dimensions & Weight - Approx 12 inches high (over the stopper) x 4.8 inches in diameter. The total gross weight is approximately 1200 grams.
