Huge 64cm Famosa LPW Encrusted Cut Glass Persian Decanter Palda Bohemian Islamic. Offered for sale is this monumental glass decanter. It was made by Famosa Glass (Leopald Palda) of Austria in the first half of the 1900's. The bottle is cased, the stopper is cut, there is raised gold enamel on both the bottle and the stopper, and there are 3 mirrored panels with applied flowers. Furthermore there are bands of gold gilt on the bottle and stopper. From the style this was made for the Persian market. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.

SIZE: This is a huge decanter. It is over 25 inches (64cm) tall. CONDITION: There are some pinpoint nibbles to the inner rim of the bottle, a few flower petal edges, and the very tip of the stopper - the tip of the pen is pointing to these.

The is a chip on the bottom of the stopper (the end that sits inside the bottle). There is some minor gold wear.
