Hoare Cut Glass Cordial Decanter, Monarch Pattern

  

Being offered is a Beautiful American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Cordial Decanter by J. Hoare & Company in the Monarch Pattern. It measures 7" tall to the top of the decanter; 9" tall when including its pattern cut stopper. It has a diameter of 4.25 at its base.

It has a star cut base and neck ring cut in a pattern of small Strawberry Diamonds. It is cut on a Sparkling Clear blank and is in Excellent Estate Condition.

The bottom rim of the stopper has three tiny flea bites, please see photo #8. This is a Beautiful Cordial Decanter with Great Form and Cutting.

Its pattern cut stopper mimics the decanter in form when it is turned upside down. It is the original stopper for this decanter.

There is a bit of clouding inside the stopper apparently formed during manufacture. Please see close ups of the stopper.
