HEATH and MIDDLETON Silver Top GREEN MAN Decanter

  
Victorian silver mounted clear glass decanter on stand. Made by Heath & Middleton, 1896. Decanter is of plain waited collar with double pouring lip, with leaf-shaped cut stopper. The compressed tea drop shaped glass body depicts a stylised bearded face with mouth open wide, with stylised swirling scrolls forming the hair around the sides. Possibly a Bacchus / Green man. All on a silver wire work frame, by the same maker/date. Please see above for quantity available. All full hallmarked, dated 1896.

Item is in excellent condition. Some light signs of use/display, which may be visible to the underside / base. Some light fogging to the interior. Chips to the tops of the stopper edges.
