The lady who was given these beautiful decanters is now in her 80s and downsizing. The decanters were made around the 1840s.
These elegant decanters feature multifaceted three ring neck with diamond pattern cuttings, inverted patterns, bull's eyes on lower portion of the body and cut ribbed lower third of the body with star cut base. The stopper displays matching diamond cutting and star cut top. For their age, these two decanters are in incredible condition. There is a minor bruise to the top edge of both stoppers - odd that they are done in the same location - as if it could have been done in the making. Neither stopper has any flakes on the ends.
The bodies of the decanters have a few minor chips or flakes - as if they had been placed too close to one another. Measures approximately 11 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" diameter.
