Edinburgh Crystal Scotland Thistle Cut Crystal Decanter & 6 Cordial Glasses

  
RARE EDINBURGH ETCHED ENGRAVED THISTLE ROUND CUT WHISKEY CLARET JUG. DECANTER SIGNED WITH SIX CORDIALS.

This is a beautiful matching set of Edinburgh Crystal in their most sought after design the Thistle pattern. The decanter has the most desirable etched mark on the base. It is etched "Made In Edinburgh Scotland". All but two of the cordials are marked with the same mark. The other two probably are marked the same as well but since the cordials are so small it is sometimes hard to get the mark on the base.

All pieces are in excellent condition and looked to have never been used. There is a little small area of cloudiness in the bottom of the decanter in one small spot on the base that you can see in the photos. It does not show from the side when the decanter is sitting on display. You can only see it if you turn it over. And look from the bottom.

I have never put anything in it and just displayed it along with the cordials. The set is really beautiful and each piece is hand blown and cut making every piece unique. Edinburgh Crystal is no longer made and so these pieces are getting harder to find in this or any other condition as time goes by.

The decanter is 12 1/4 high with the stopper in. The 6 cordials are all 3 3/8 high.
