Unique & Very Rare, from the 1850's, fantastic hand blown, ruby cut to clear, engraved & etched decanter. Attributed to Dorflinger Crystal & Glass Works, NY, USA. Has engraved & etched flowers, vines & leaves, with button panel accents from stopper throughout bottom, very detailed, intricate well done master work.
Absolutely stunning piece of Dorflinger, NY crystal glassware A piece of this quality is a rare find and an absolute must for any serious collector. In superb condition, there are a few minor scuff marks on the bottom of base, other than that, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs, correct & rare stopper, tall & heavy example. Measures: 16.25" tall w/stopper in, 12.75" w/o stop, 12" deep, stopper is 5.75" X a 2" flat polished top, 5" widest at bowl on bottom, 4" wide by 5" tall the middle designed part, throat is 4" & masterfully done, top rim is 2.25" across & polished flat as well. The bottom rolls under slightly to a 4 cut flat base.Estate sale NYC in late 60's.
