C1930 Three Piece Tantalus Set With Cut Glass Decanters
C1930 Three Piece Tantalus Set With Cut Glass Decanters. A tantalus set consisting of three cut glass decanters in a fitted cabinet with a key. The decanters are of square form with a diamond pattern to it with wide necks and have multi-faceted, globular stoppers. They are presented in a fitted wood cabinet with nickel/brass fittings, a brass handle, and the wooden tray slides out to access the glass decanters which sit in blue velvet padding.
The decanters each have a height of 23cm (9 inches). The cabinet measures 35cm (13.75 inches) in width by 15.5cm (6 inches) in depth by 31cm (12.25 inches) in height. The set weighs 4.71Kg. The decanters are in good shape with no visible chips but some light scratching to the base, the stoppers have some chipping to the underside (although this is not visible when in place).The cabinet is in a good condition, the metal is in good shape and the lining has little wear but no damages. The lock and key is in working order.
