Brilliant Cut Glass Hawkes Vase Decanter Signed
This listing is for a gorgeous American Brilliant cut glass vase that is marked Hawkes on the bottom. It has been displayed in my curio cabinet for several years and was in my mother's cabinet before I got it. Please enlarge each picture for a closer view.
Size: 4 inches star circumference at Bottom 6 inches widest point; 8 inches high; 2 1/2 diameter at the neck Materials: Leaded Glass Description: Beautiful clarity and stunning brilliance in the light. Acid stamped signature on the bottom.
My mother put a sticker by the Hawkes mark so that it would be easier to locate the acid-mark. I'm not sure of the pattern but there are fans, cross-cut diamonds and hobstars around the large part of the bowl and the neck appears to have a oval shaped thumbprint type pattern.
