Bohemia Art Deco Cut Glass Decanter and 6 Glasses. Original, Fantastic Style

  
1930s acid etch and enamel decorated cut glass decanter and 6 glasses. Made in Bohemia, this liqueur or spirit decanter set is of a really very good quality. The acid etch decoration is precise and the black enamel is without fault. The decanter is suitably heavy with decoration to both front and back and measures just under 10 inches high.

The glasses are a fantastic Bauhaus conical shape again with decoration to both front and back and measure 2.5 inches high. Over the years some damage has occurred. 3 of the glasses have very small frits to the rim, the remaining 3 are perfect and there is a reglued chip to the stopper and a corresponding chip to the inside of the top of the decanter. All the frits to the glasses would be lost with minimal grinding.

None of this shows when displayed but does on closer examination. The present condition is as I bought it many years ago and I have very much enjoyed looking at it. Top end when new, the price now reflects its present condition. Thanks for reading this listing, please see my other pieces for sale.
