Art Deco Czech Modernist Cut Glass Liquor Decanter / Carafe Set Karl Palda
A fabulous Art Deco cut glass decanter, glasses and tray - a set with an iconic design. This is an elegant piece , decorated with. Black enamel squares on the lower parts of decanter, glasses, stopper and on the tray. The triangle stopper refracts the light that make the set especially spectacular. Period of manufacture: 1920's, Czech republic. Creator : Karl Palda glass workshop. Minor scratches on the bottom of the tray, one minor flea bite on the one of the stopper's faceted ribs, insignificant scuffs on the internal part of stopper. Overall exceptional condition for set's age.
Height: 23 cm/ 9,1 inches. Diameter (in the widest point): 8.5 cm/ 3,3 inches. Diameter of decanter's bottom: 5 cm/2 inches. The neck's height: 2 cm/ 0.79 inches. Rim diameter: 2.5 cm/0.98.
Height of stopper: 9.5 cm/ 3.7 inches. Height: 6 cm/2.4 inches. Top diameter 3.5 cm/1.38 inches.
Diameter: 21 cm/8.3 inches. Diameter of bottom: 19 cm/ 7.5 inches. 2 cm/ 0.78 inches.
