Antique Victorian Gothic Revival High Quality Cut Glass Liqueur Decanter c1870
A good quality mid Victorian Gothic revival liqueur decanter. It would have been made in one of the top English glass factories. The body is cut with a lens and cross design which refracts through as can be seen in the images.
It comes with the original stopper which is hollow blown. It would have been intended for strong drinks and liqueurs and hold just over half a standard bottle of wine. Long flake chip to stopper peg, fortunately not affecting fit.
