It is made of thick lead glass and is heavily cut with a broad splits deign and horizontal prism channels around the neck. It comes with a hollow blown stopper which appears original. The overall shape is of a shaft and globe design, with the heavy cutting breaking up the outline somewhat. It would have been used for wine, sherry etc in its day, and it holds a standard bottle of wine. Some chips to the stopper peg, but not to a level affecting function.
Minor chips to the stopper, a chip to the rim and the odd minor nick to the body. Light watermarking to the interior, largely to the base as you would expect.
