Antique Pewter on Wheel-Cut Glass Ornate Art Nouveau Decanter, no stopper
An absolutely stunning decanter made of wheel-cut class with a pewter overlay. The design work is intricate with a floral and foliate design that's very much in keeping with the Art Nouveau aesthetic.
The decanter is in amazing condition with no wear or damage that I could see. My guess is that this piece was made in Czechoslovakia or Austria. Not sure of an exact age on the piece, but I suspect that it originated at some point in the late 19th/early 20th Century.
It measures approximately 9.75" in height and 3" in diameter at its widest point.
