DESCRIPTION: This is a wonderful oak three bottle / decanter tantalus which is very nicely finished with nickle plated mounts. The case is made from oak which is a wonderful rich colour and has lovely nickle plated mounts. The mounts are superb being nicely shaped. The tantalus has a lovely carrying handle which sets the tantalus off beautifully. In addition it is complete with it's key. To access the bottles firstly the key is used to unlock the lock, the key is then removed, once the key is removed this allows the front to fall down and the bottles can be removed. The bottles are all cut glass and have faceted stoppers.

DIMENSIONS: The approximate maximum dimensions are:- 13.75 inches / 35 cm long- 5 inches / 13 cm deep- 13 inches / 33 high. AGE: The tantalus is circa 1890. CONDITION: The case is in lovely condition just minor knocks / marks commensurate with age. The bottles are also in good usable condition, just the odd nibbles / small chips to the bottom pf the stoppers commensurate with age and careful use. There is a little wear to the nickel plating on mounts as would be expected.
