Antique Nickel Plated & Oak Tantalus with 3 Hobnail Cut Decanters. I believe this piece will date to the first part of the 20th century. Although it has a few issues and does not lock it still displays well and is quite usable. I have given the metal work a light polish, although it is quite shiny I believe it is nickel plated rather than silver plated. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: Has no key but the locking mechanism is unlocked so the top cover can be released by pushing the lock. The nickel plating to the top cover has some scratches at one end and plate loss at the other. The oak holder is in good order.

One of the decanters has a large chip to the rim, another has what looks like a fracture in the glass around the collar but it appears quite stable. Two of the stoppers sit a little proud. Glass is slightly cloudy towards the base. Size: Base 38.8cm (15 1/4") by 15.4cm (6 1/8") by 30.5cm high (12).

Decanters 23cm high including stopper, 8.2cm square (3 1/4) and weigh between 940grams and 1200grams each. Carrier is nearly 3 kgs. Due to weight and size this item will be sent by courier, international couriers listed will be an economy service.
