Antique Hand Blown Green Cut To Clear Crystal Wine Aerator Decanter with Stand

  

Featured is an antique wine aerator/dispenser. Hand blown, made of quality lead crystal, emerald green bulbous-shaped body features cut to clear hobnail designs, a 2 opening, and a narrow neck with a brass nozzle on the end. It sits in a wrought iron musical stand (made by Reuge) which is also included.

Both the stand and the dispenser are unique and it's a great showcase piece, however, both items would need some work to be fully functional again. The stand has a built in music box on the base plate, unfortunately it won't wind up and I suspect that it's seized. There's also some minor surface rust but overall it's in very good shape. Stand dimensions: 10 in x 6 5/8 in x 15.75 in. The wine aerator is about 13.5 inches long, 5 width at the widest point, and weighs a little over 3 lbs. It's in excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks. The only parts that aren't original is the spring and o ring (inside the nozzle). It's easily repairable, but as is the spring is too stiff and it's not sealing properly, so the nozzle leaks if it's filled with liquid. Feel free to ask if you have questions.
