Antique Crystal, Silver Mounted Decanter Hukin & Heath 1900
Tall elegant crystal decanter with silver mount and original stopper. Its torpedo shaped with lobed sides on a round star-cut base and a flared silver top with a rope twist base.
The silver is hallmarked for Hukin and Heath, a famous and forward-thinking silversmiths of the time. It looks like it dates from the 1920s or 30s but has a silver date stamp for 1900. It is in bright, good antique condition with some wear to the base. The stopper has a tiny nibble to the lower edge, see image. Approx 39cm high x 9cm across at widest point. Very heavy at approx 1.175 kg.
