Site filters from view the posting of sales by U. Sellers containing the names of some of the better and more highly collectible English and German porcelain companies. Offered in this sale is an unusual overlay cut glass decanter bottle that has a layer of cobalt glass on the outside over what looks like rubina verde on the inside (see coloring through base in 2nd image).
I have never seen an example like this before. When you look at the cut flowers some appear to be a pinkish color while others are yellowish green.
I assume this was intentional in the making. I don't know if this is Bohemian or perhaps English.
It measures roughly 9" tall x 6 1/2" in diameter at its widest. The underside of the base is cut and polished. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding.
Please be sure to enlarge and zoom each image for a close up view of the detail and the condition. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. Taft sterling silver 7/8 pint flask, more than a dozen pieces of Jars Tourron French faience, a set of Roses Cauldon china for Tiffany & Company plates , a set of twelve Portieux glass PALMYRE champagne flutes, more than a dozen carved stone and turquoise fetishes, several pieces of Tiffany & Company Limoges Shell and Thread as well as various other pieces of antique to contemporary American, Chinese, English and continental porcelains and glass.
