VERY RARE Antique English 3 Bottle Decanter Tantalus with Lock and Key. This is a superb and very rare design of antique 3 bottle / decanter. Which is complete with it's lock and key. The tantalus is made from oak and finished with lovely shaped silver mounts. The locking mechanism is stamped with the makers mark'WALKER & HALL SHEFFIELD THE ONLY HOLDFAST PATENT. With this design of opening. To release the bottles the. As the lock mechanism is turned the centre of the oak case drops forward to allow the decanters to be removed from the case. Has three diamond shaped crystal cut glass decanters with faceted stoppers. Overall this looks superb and it is a wonderful colour.
