#23178 Large Lillian pattern steeple decanter by William C Anderson. Beautiful Thistle work and 4 sided hollow diamond cutting on the lower part. This type of cutting was done almost exclusively by Anderson. The blank is excellent quality clear and brilliant. The thistle and bud cutting is very silvery and brilliant. Steeple stopper that is fluted and notched. Lillian is shown on page 108 of the chain of Evidence book by Leigh Emmerson. The decanter is a stately 16 tall and 3 3/4 diameter at the base. Particulaly fragile items are generally double boxed w ith packing between the boxes. Please notify me within 3 days of receiving your item. I trade in accordance with their ethics guidelines.
