(9) Tumblers 4 tall American Brilliant Period Cut glass Crystal Ray Flash Star

  

This is a gorgeous Set of (9) Matching Tumblers! Measure: 4" tall and 3" wide rim. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! Authentication/Documentation: I do not know the maker of this pattern because I have not attempted to research them yet. But companies who could have made this pattern include Pitkins & Brooks, Buffalo Cut glass co and a few others that used the 8 point flashed star geometric motifs more regularly.

The main pattern is an 8 point flashed star, alternating with a fan, notched steps and hobstar motif. Condition: This is 100+ years old, and (1) has a few minor shallow chips on the underside from contact with surfaces that no one will see and it causes no issues... Otherwise I see nothing to consider damages. They do have the typical signs of age like Microscopic scratches from use and washing but these scratches are common and typical after 100 years.

The rims are original, these blanks may have some watery appearances or minor roughness around the edges in areas from the way they were molded before the houses cut the designs on them. This is typical in figured blanks and not damages or an issue.

Therefore it will be treated as such. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item.
