19c Oak Brass Bound Tilt Bar Tantalus/Decanter Stand C1900

  

19c oak tilt bar tantalus/decanters stand dating to C1890/1900. Lovely honey colour and patina with brass bound fittings which were originally silver plated but now polished to give a much nicer softer look. There is one brass corner strap missing but easy to replace. Vacant cartouch to front and back so could be engraved should you wish. Has its working lock and key and once locked you need to pull the key slightly to operate the lock mechanism.

Full hobnail cut decanters with facet stoppers in excellent condition with one stopper with minor nibbles to bottom[see photo's] all collars are good. Bottles are full size 9 inches high[23cm] x 3.5 ins square[9cm]. Stand measures 15 ins wide[38cm] x 7 ins deep[18cm] x 13 ins high to top of handle[33cm].
