Fabulous 19c mahogany tantalus/decanter cabinet dating to c1890/1910/. This was restored by a cabinet maker and what a super job he made of it. Re-lined in a thick gold velvet and french polished to give it that lusterous look and complimented with thick hand cut period brass fittings. The dark amber glass flasks with original silver plated tops are in perfect condition with no damage or chips. Wonderful blowing flaws to some bottles[air bubbles] enhance the age and all have ground bases.
They have four silver plated labels for brandy, gin, port, sherry. The bottles fit nice and tight with padded interior sides.
Bottles measure 8.5 inches high[21cm] x 5 ins at widest13cm. Cabinet measures 13 inches wide[33cm] x 9.5 ins high[24cm] x 9.5 ins deep[24cm]. As you can see from the photo's the cabinet is in near mint condition. A very decorative and useful item. Will be packed very well and sent next day courier.
