1930 Beautiful Opaque White Cut to Amber Bohemian Glass Decanter & 4 Glasses

  
This is an absolutely gorgeous antique Bohemian decanter set, which is in remarkably great condition. It is exceptionally well made, and dates back to the early 1930's. This type of cut glass was very popular and made in the Czech-Bohemia region during the early 1900's. It is intricately hand painted on lovely heavy white opaque glass. It presents in excellent condition with one very minor chip on the bottom of the stopper (as seen in photo 8). Otherwise, all 5 pieces are perfect in every way. The colorful hand painted flowers appear in shades of pink, blue, yellow, orange, and cranberry; with lots of green foliage. There are plenty of cuts in the white glass which reveal a wonderful shade of amber glass. The oval cuts are all trimmed in metallic gold, and the stopper has a gold tipped point and thin gold detailing going all the way around.

The 4 small stemmed glasses are also perfect and are done in the same beautiful design. Each glass stands 4 and a 1/2 in tall, with a top opening of 2 and 3/4 in. The decanter measures 11 and a 1/2 in tall with the stopper, and 14 in all the way around at the widest point. All 5 pieces weigh just under 4 pounds.
