Vintage Ruby Red Flash Overlay Cut to White Decanter Carafe With Applied Handle

  
This is a very unique decanter or carafe and I hope I can explain it properly. This has the white bottle which then appears to have a clear glass overlay.

Then there is the ruby red overlay which I believe cuts to the clear overlay not the white. So I believe this is would be ruby red flashed cut glass. Inside the bottle it is marked 991 (or 166) and on the stopper it is marked 991 (or 166) so you know they are both original pieces.

This stands 11.75 inches with the stopper and at the bottom it is just under 3 inches in diameter. This is in very good condition as I do not see any nicks or chips. There is some dirt inside the neck of the decanter which I did not try to clean.
