VINTAGE CUT CRYSTAL DECANTER BOTTLE STERLING SILVER COLLARED RIM BARKER ELLIS CO. QUALITY VINTAGE CUT CRYSTAL DECANTER WITH HALLMARKED SILVER COLLAR. Presenting an exceptionally fine vintage cut crystal decanter with a quality English hallmarked sterling silver collared rim by the renowned makers Barker Ellis Silver Co.
This exquisite decanter has a perfectly proportioned crystal body with a masterfully hand-cut traditional pattern. The intricately cut pattern beautifully combines faceted leaf cuts with alternating diagonal cut leaves. The ornate leaf pattern appears beneath a stylishly flowing swagged ribbon, with alternating oval and faceted fan cuts suspended atop.
An arched panel cut stylishly surrounds the neck of the decanter, beautifully aiding ones grasp upon the bottle. A starburst cut to the base spectacularly radiates light throughout the crystal. The exquisite cut pattern magnificently accentuates the stunning sparkle of the quality crystal. A quality English sterling silver collar and rim, produced by the Birmingham makers Barker Ellis Silver Co in 1974, looks truly exquisite set against the sparkling crystal, adding a sophisticated touch of luxury and elegance to this quality piece.
The sterling silver is beautifully hallmarked with the makers mark, sterling mark, town mark and date letter. The original mushroom-shaped stopper, with radiating starburst cut, perfectly completes this stylish decanter. This impressive decanter stands approx 240mms or 9.5" tall including the stopper and measures 145mms or 5.75" in diameter at its widest.This quality crystal piece weighs just over 1.2kgs unpackaged. This decanter is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This outstanding piece would make a fabulous addition to any vintage crystal or quality decanter bottle collection.
