Vintage Antique Early Rock Crystal Cut Glass Decanter Claret Jug

  

This beautiful heavy decanter depicts a breath taking floral pattern highlighted with flowers and butterflies. The entire design is very Ornate and highly detailed - including the stopper which has a fantastic sunflower design.

The pedestal is cut into flower pedals - each pedal has a sunflower depicted. As for the age, I was told it is likely to be early 20th century. The overall condition is great - excellent. The points of each cut are sharp, not dull. The base of the stopper does show signs of some chipping and scratches, but non of which can be seen when resting on top of the decanter.

The decanter has several small scratches (1 is pictured) and a very tiny chip by a floral vine tip towards the bottom side - difficult to see but I was able to feel it. Measures 14" tall x 5" wide (with the stopper in).
