SUPERB PAIR EDWARDIAN BARKER ELLIS SILVER PLATE AND AMBER CUT GLASS DECANTERS. Listed this week is a great Collection of Georgian, Victorian and later Sterling Silver and Silver Plate plus a very large collection of Victorian, French and Austrian Art Glass, Cut Glass including ABP plus a nice selection of Lalique and other stem ware. I have never seen another Pair with Holders like this and I must say I absolutely love them! The Silver Plate Holders feature very finely detailed Grape and Leaf designs with nice large sweeping handles and beaded collars. The Decanters are removable by unscrewing a nut from underside the bottom, quite an ingenious design.

The Holders are also marked for the world famous Barker Ellis company, so you know the quality is top notch. The Decanters are a lovely Amber Glass with beautiful etched designs of Grapes and nice Cut designs of Dots, which are repeated on the Stoppers. The Set is substantially in good condition for the age, with one replaced nut, some silver plate wear, a few very small chips to the top rims and some minor cloudiness to the insides of the decanters.

The Decanters display beautifully and are a nice size for practical use measuring 15" tall to the top of the stopper, 11-1/4" tall to the spout, 5-3/4" wide overall and 4-1/2" across the base. Each Decanter will also hold a full 750ml Bottle of Wine.

If you had the stands replated this would be an absolutely gorgeous set, I even love them just the way they are and they are so unique I don't think you will find another pair like them again!
