A fabulous late 19/early 20c cabinet. Incorporating decanters, tumblers, glasses and a revolving half moon section for cigars. Dating to approx C1900/10 and in wonderful condition with side brass carry handles and lock[no key] but easy to have one cut and a vacant brass cartouche in the lid so could be engraved should you wish. Lifting the lid reveals two lovely hand blown decanters with mushroom stoppers, one of which has been replaced at some point but fits well and from the same period.
The decanters are in excellent condition and have pouring spouts and lovely old silver plated label collars for brandy and liquor. Three etched tumblers and four small glasses all in good condition with no chips or cracks. The bottom panel revolves to reveal a brass half round section for cigars which is a little stiff but does work. There is a small brass plaque inside the fall front which reads "Chapmans Patient" 191.Measuring 10 inches high[26cm] x 9.5 ins wide[24cm] x 9 ins deep[23cm]. The condition is superb having been professionally restored and has an amazing colour and grain the the wood. I do not know what type of wood it is but was told it could be some type of burr and possibly elm or ash?
