S&f Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Wine Decanter

  

This fabulous wine decanter by S&F features sterling silver hardware and handle with three-dimensional grapevine motif. It is in Excellent Condition. It measures 9.25" high, 6.5" wide. It is signed "450 Sterling S&F" on the sterling collar around the neck of the decanter.

BOTH, stopper and decanter are hand inscribed 51 on bottom. Very few, very small, very light dings on stopper, the insert on stopper is lightly scratched as expected with seldom use.

The inside of decanter has some water spotting. The bottom of the decanter has light scratches as expected with seldom use. S&F Sterling was a high quality silver Company in San Francisco in the early 1900's. This decanter is a rare and beautiful piece of art from the American Brilliant Period.
