This listing is for a fabulous ICONIC antique MOSER set of 4 glasses and a gorgeous gilded decanter. The workmanship and artistry is highly intricate, hand gilded, antique liqueur decanter and 4 liqueur glasses. The decanter and glasses have ruby oval cabochon 6 sided panels with matching stopper. The stopper has a crossed number 7 gilded which I think means the number of pieces in the set. There is one tiny mark noticeable on one of the ruby cabochons, see photo and a slight loss of gilding on the top of the stopper and the top edge of the glasses, commensurate with its age.....

The decoration has all the beautiful cross hatching with dots and curves, most reminiscent of many of the great Moser pieces. If you have not seen them before, please Google Moser and have a look... The set is dated to around 1880 but could be slightly earlier, or slightly later. The decanter has quite regal features with the gilding and the ruby colour and such sets would have graced the palaces of Europe in their day....
