This decanter set has basket weave pattern with grape vine rim, base and feet. The caddy measures nearly 21" tall and 10" across the feet. The bottles are cut with a flat diamond & fan above two rows of cut circles.
The neck and hollow stoppers are cut with a hollow diamond pattern all of which is typical for Civil War Era cut glass. The bottles measure over 14" tall with stoppers and 3 1/4" in diameter at the base and I do believe these are the original numbered stoppers. The silver caddy is in excellent condition with a wonderful patina. The bottles are also in excellent condition with age appropriate wear which includes tiny flea bites on the double pour rims and nicks on the ends of the stoppers (see photos). There is also some light residue on the inside of the bottle near the base, which I did not have a brush to reach it is light and I do believe it will come out (see photos). This is truly and beautiful and unique Victorian era liquor set.
