Gorgeous Antique Dorflinger Sandwich ABP American Brilliant Cut Glass Ruby Cut to Clear Decanter 14. This is a fabulous late 19th century American Brilliant Period ruby red cut to clear cut glass large ewer shape wine decanter.

The base is ruby cut to clear with 16 point petals. Bottom of the base has so much ware as expected from this age glass piece. The body has ruby cut to clear CANE pattern. It is not signed, it could be Dorflinger's Hob Diamond, Boston & Sandwich's Octagon Diamond piece. The neck has four ruby cut to clear four panels.

It has applied handle with oval cut punties. It came with a facetted cut stopper, I don't think it is original to this decanter, looks bit small. The decanter has magnificent ruby red color. It is very nicely cut, pattern is truly lovely.

The glass is very high quality. It has 5" diameter at the base, measures 5" spout to handle and it is 13.5"tall to tip of the stopper, 12" tall to tip of the spout. It is in very good condition.

I don't see anything wrong with it, has no chips, cracks or repair. However the bottom part of the stopper is damaged. It is a magnificent piece. Discounts will be given only if items can be combined safely in the same box. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
