Antique Cut Glass & Sterling Silver Decanter by Jacobi & Jenkins. Clear cut-glass and sterling silver decanter. Made by Jacobi & Jenkins in Baltimore, ca 1900.
Baluster neck, globular body, and s-scroll handle. Sterling silver mount and hinged cover have dense floral repousse on stippled ground.
Slightly anthropomorphic suggestive of a bird s head, including the beak-like spout. Fine regional craftsmanship and style. Very good condition and patina. Dimensions: H 11 3/4 x D 5 1/2 in.
