Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous antique cut glass decanter with elaborately engraved decoration, c. This stunning decanter is larger than many decanters and has a rounded lower body decorated with engraved cut decoration including thistles and stylized starbursts.

This unusual design with thistles possibly suggests that the decanter was produced in England as thistles are often used in English designs. The stopper has three slightly convex windows reflecting the large teardrop inside. The stopper has an elongated body above a slender panel cut stem.

The neck of the decanter is also panel cut with scalloped top and bottom. Measures 12 3/4" high with an overall width of about 6" and base diameter of 4.

Signed on the bottom with unidentified maker's name beginning with "S". This amazing decanter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The stopper is also in excellent condition with no noted flaws. Decanter has wide polished center base.
