Fabulous Tantalus/Decanter Cabinet With Glasses C1900/10
A wonderful and unusual solid oak frame 2 decanter tantalus/decanter stand with central 3 drawers with glasses c1900/10. In really nice original condition with fabulous colour and patina and with silver plated mounts. The two half hobnail decanters with facet stoppers are in great order with no chips or crack to bottles or stoppers and they have porcelain plaques for brandy and sherry. Decanters are full size 8.5 inches high[22cm] x 3.5 ins square[9cm]. The centre compartment works like a wellington chest as its locked until the front flap comes down and sides open to reveal 3 old glassed.
Fabulous grain to the oak and all in great condition with outside measurements for stand 13 ins high[33cm] x 14 ins wide[36cm] x 5.5 ins deep[14cm]. A very unusual stand in lovely original condition with a usefull and decorative appeal complete with working lock and key.
