EDINBURGH CRYSTAL THISTLE DESIGN & ENGRAVED LIQUEUR/CORDIAL DECANTER 18cm
On offer is a beautiful decanter by Edinburgh Crystal of Scotland. Designed as a thistle and with thistle engraving to the body and stopper. The top of the stopper and base of the decanter are star cut.
This is smaller than the more common decanters available and stands just over 7 inches in height including the stopper. I believe that it was made for liqueurs or cordials. Markings: indistinctly etched to the base with the Edinburgh Crystal mark.
Approximate size: 180mm (7.1) in height. The penny is shown for size comparison. Condition: the decanter and stopper are in excellent pre-owned condition with no damage that I can find apart from the usual light base wear. It should be noted that there is a slight iridescence to the glass, mainly to the lower half, which can be seen in the pictures.
