Edinburgh Crystal Thistle Cut Claret Jug Decanter 1st Excellent
A stunning Claret jug and stopper from Edinburgh Crystal in the Thistle cut. Please see full description for further information.
First introduced in 1896 and given the pattern number H828. Thistle captures the very spirit of Scotland in its unique Thistle shape with intricate diamond cutting and delicate engraving of the national emblem. There is a little clouding to the neck of the jug otherwise it shows little further sign of use other than some surface scratching to the underside. Any bright white marks are light reflection. 31.5cm/12½" high with the stopper and 23cm/9" without.
