I received this decanter as a wedding gift in 1973. It's been behind glass ever since. WHAT IS MOST UNUSUAL ABOUT THIS DECANTER IS DOUBLE C. I have researched, and couldn't find any like it....

Except history (see below), which says that Atlantis outsourced for many major crystal houses.. I can guess that they outsourced for Cartier...

In 1952, Atlantis (Portugal) began to export glass articles to the United States and England. The factory was transformed in 1972 in order to produce crystal: the full-leaded and manually produced Atlantis Crystal was introduced to the American market. The business was divided into two separate sections : the crystals (made in Alcobaca), and the glass, (made in Marinha Grande). Also, Atlantis was often contracted to do outsourcing for leading market competitors such as Waterford Crystal, Baccarat and Saint Louis.
