Made between 1800 and 1840 in the western part of Europe. (in more recent years, after 1850, this type was still made, but then the dripping ring will be at the top of the bottle, or not present at all).

The blue-green or green color was special for white wine, mainly for the Rhine wines, to hide the wine had not always cleared. These decanters are all blown on the pipe, hand formed, cut and polished - with a polished-out pontil. Decanter D - clear glass, a fleebit near the bottom, some tiny fleebits to the stopper - height: 33,3 cm / ca. Decanter E - this one also has facet cutting on and above the dripping ring and a hollow blown stopper - clear glass, a chip on the top of and some fleebits on the stopper - height: 34,4 cm / ca. Decanter F - this one also has facet cutting on and above the dripping ring - at one side a stain of residu, some fleebits on the stopper and top rim of the bottle - height: 33,6 cm / ca.
