This unusual design silver topped glass Victorian decanter stands 245mm (10") high x 85mm (3.5") across and weighs 488 grams. It is hallmarked for solid English sterling silver Birmingham 1900 with the makers mark for Matthew John Jessop with the date letter and lion passant repeated on the stopper. The body is an Art Nouveau pinched wrythen glass design with scrolling stylised foliage with birds around the collar with a 4 way pouring spout. It is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks to the glass and the silver is in good condition with some signs of use. If you have any questions please do contact me.
